Prayer Is Not Cancelled!

It’s been a grueling year, hasn’t it? As though the virus and lockdowns weren’t enough, the presidential campaign has been just as disturbing. I know we’re all worn out. Perhaps we could use a little encouragement, and there’s no better place to find it than through prayer and God’s Word. There’s only one thing on which we can always depend – our Faithful God.

Try as they might, cancel culture cannot cancel God, His Word, or our prayers.

So let’s keep praying. God is still in control. As a matter of fact, He determines who becomes leaders for His divine purposes (Romans 13:1). Let’s look to Him for His will and purpose and plan and pray it into existence.

Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10

One thing is clear: we are not finished praying. The enemy has been working overtime in our country, and we must put on our armor (Ephesians 6:10-18) and fight in prayer against the unseen forces of darkness invading our country.(click to tweet) I have felt strongly that we all need to fight this spiritual war in prayer, but I’m feeling it even stronger now and for the days ahead, as I’m confident you do too. I posted the following scriptural prayers on social media in the week leading up to the election. I post them here now for us all to continue praying them for America.

Prayerdemic Prayers:

  1. 10/28/20 – Truth Is Not Cancelled
  2. 10/29/20 – Help Is Not Cancelled
  3. 10/30/20 – Mercy Is Not Cancelled
  4. 10/31/20 – Heaven’s Armies Are Not Cancelled
  5. 11/1/20 – Church Is Not Cancelled
  6. 11/2/20 – God’s Plan Is Not Cancelled

Always great to pray together, even if virtually, even where two or three are gathered in spirit. God hears, and I believe He is doing a mighty work through our prayers. Love you my friend.

Sometimes there are just no words to combine in a sentence that makes sense when we feel as many of us do these day. Thank you for putting these prayers together.
