Lord, Heal Our Land!
My heart is heavy about the state of our country and world. Is yours? I feel deeply compelled to write about it and pray for God to heal our land, and I hope I can make some sense of our world today and how to get our nation back. I hope you’ll pray with me…
Read MoreNever Give Up!
Jesus told us in Luke 18:1, “Always pray, and never give up” (NLT). Other versions say …become discouraged (HCSB), or …lose heart (NKJV), or …keep praying until the answer comes (TLB). This is how Jesus began His parable about a widow who kept going to a certain judge asking for justice against her enemy. This…

Read MoreThe Lord’s Prayer for America

He then taught them what we call “The Lord’s Prayer.” Yet people today still wonder how to pray, even though the Lord’s Prayer has been recited for centuries. Could we have missed something? Did Jesus really mean for us to recite this…
