Call to Prayer for America

Friends, Has anyone heard of a call to prayer and fasting lately for America? I’m not talking about a day of prayer, or certain churches doing their own prayer events, but a national call to prayer for America, with fasting. I haven’t heard of anything. If I’ve missed something, please let me know.

I know many do pray for America, but I’m feeling deeply that we need more in this hour. It seems as though things get darker and darker, yet we go along like business as usual. Are you feeling it too, that we need to have a time or prayer and fasting for our nation?

Esther called for a three-day fast. Let’s do the same.

So, this is a call to fast and pray for America. Please join us! Let’s fast and pray together, Wednesday through Friday, November 19, 20, and 21. Everyone can fast to whatever degree you are able. Some can do a water fast, some a juice fast, some can eat only vegetables like Daniel did. Still others may give up a meal or even a habit. Whatever God leads you to do (and do safely), let’s all do it and commit to fervent prayer for America for those three days. Instead of eating, let’s pray and draw closer to God in humility, confession, and supplication for our nation–for God to heal our land.

The more people we can gather to pray the better. So please share this with friends, and share my social media posts about it. Let’s get as many people to pray and fast as possible on those days — November 19, 20, and 21.

And at the end of our fast, on Saturday morning, November 22, 11:00-12:00, we will be having a local gathering to pray together in person. Ours will be at Jaycee Park in Vero Beach, Florida. However, if you’re not local to us, I encourage you to gather with as many friends as you can to pray that morning. Remember, where “two or more” are gathered, He promises His presence, even if only two gather.
